SUMMARY:
A leading fashion retailer is seeking a creative, organized and detail-oriented Content Marketing Coordinator to join its Marketing team at Head Office in Wynberg.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will support the execution of the company''s digital marketing strategy by coordinating social media content, influencer partnerships, content production and marketing administration. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will ensure marketing campaigns are delivered on time, brand standards are maintained, and digital content is aligned with the promotional calendar.

This opportunity is ideal for a marketing professional with experience in retail or agency environments who is passionate about fashion, digital marketing and brand building, and is looking to grow into a Content Manager role as the business expands.

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other digital platforms.
Support the execution of the promotional and marketing calendar, including seasonal campaigns and sale events.
Assist with creative briefs and coordinate workflow between the marketing team and external agencies.
Support SMS marketing and paid media campaign execution.
Liaise with digital agencies regarding user-generated content (UGC) and community management activities.
Coordinate weekly social media and newsletter content for stores to ensure brand consistency.
Assist with social media content planning and scheduling.
Verify product availability before marketing content is published.
Ensure all marketing copy is accurate, approved and aligned with brand guidelines.
Monitor social media platforms for brand mentions, customer engagement and influencer opportunities.
Research and identify suitable content creators and influencers aligned with the company brand.
Prepare influencer proposals, partnership recommendations and cost estimates for management approval.
Track influencer campaigns and provide performance feedback.
Identify PR, editorial and digital exposure opportunities.
Assist with the coordination of fashion shoots, including communication with photographers, stylists and internal stakeholders.
Support in-house content creation, video production and product preparation for shoots.
Assist with maintaining product marketing documentation, including images, SKUs and availability.
Support weekly newsletter image selection and briefing requirements.
Provide general administrative support to the Marketing team.
Assist with additional marketing projects and activities as required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
2–5 years'' experience in a marketing, content, digital marketing or social media role within a retail or agency environment.
Experience planning, creating, scheduling and managing content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience coordinating multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience using Canva or similar design tools is advantageous.
Experience working with influencers or content creators is advantageous.
Exposure to email marketing platforms and newsletter coordination is advantageous.
Experience in community management or customer engagement is beneficial.
