SUMMARY:
Content Coordinator position available in Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

Our client has a position available for a Content Coordinator in Cape Town.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ongoing content management and coordination
- Assess the various platforms - social media pages and websites
- Propose ideas and plans for content for the various platforms on an ongoing basis
- Liaise with various team members to gather content and design elements to carry out the content plan
- Implement, monitor and maintain content plans
Write and proofread copy for products, websites, articles, social media and other marketing material
Research and write on various animal care related topics
Coordinate and manage all brand social media pages
Coordinate and implement content across three websites
Keep up to date with changes to the various platforms and the what that means for the business
Assist the department with any ad hoc marketing duties

Desired Experience & Qualification

Tertiary qualification in marketing / copywriting or similar
Minimum 2 years full-time working experience in a similar role
Writing experience (social media, product copy, web copy, short articles)
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Experience with Facebook, Instagram, web platforms, GoogleMybusiness and Mailchimp
Graphic Design experience or exposure is advantageous
