Consumables Co-ordinator

SUMMARY:
We have an opportunity for a Consumables Co-ordinator in the City Deep area in the South of Johannesburg for a company within the FMCG industry.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification: NQF 5/6 or equivalent 
• 2+ years relevant experience
• Accounts payable experience (Creditors)
• MRP System
• Advanced Ms. Excel
• Forklift license

• PROCUREMENT
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are placed timeously
  • Assist with expediting when escalation is required
  • Calculate forward orders for Projects
  • Place orders to ensure new lines / Projects start up in time
  • Supplier Meetings
  • Product quality issues
  • Monitor stock levels on crucial items
  • Supplier Claims

• BRC / HALAL
  • Area inspection to ensure auditing compliance:
    • Traceability
    • H&S
    • FIFO
    • Allergen
    • Packaging vs Ingredients
  • Obtain documents and Declarations on new Suppliers and for audits.

• STOCK TAKE
  • Ensure regular cycle counts
  • Managing and closing monthly stock takes
  • Processing / approve variance processing.
