SUMMARY:
Our client in George is seeking 2 skilled and passionate Confectioners to join their team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing, decorating, and presenting a variety of confectionery products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Confectioner is essential.
• Relevant confectionery, baking, or pastry qualification will be advantageous.
• Experience with cakes, pastries, desserts, and other confectionery products.
• Good knowledge of ingredients, recipes, and confectionery techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.

• Prepare and produce a variety of confectionery products, including cakes, pastries, desserts, and sweet treats.
• Decorate cakes and other products according to required specifications.
• Follow recipes and production guidelines accurately.
• Measure and prepare ingredients correctly.
• Ensure products are consistently produced to a high quality and standard.
• Maintain excellent presentation and attention to detail.
• Operate confectionery and baking equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area.
• Follow food safety and health regulations.
• Monitor stock and report shortages or wastage.
• Complete production within required deadlines.
• Assist with general bakery/confectionery duties when required.
