Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Practice Management and Compliance Consultant to join the team. This role involves assisting clients in improving their business growth, asset value, and cash flow by implementing best practice business strategies. A key part of the role is to oversee and implement compliance and practice management frameworks that align with FAIS, FICA, and POPI regulations within the financial services industry. This position offers the chance to develop your expertise under supervision while delivering impactful compliance solutions and practice management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of practice management and compliance services to Financial Services Providers (FSPs) in line with service level agreements.

   

   

• Assist in identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies, revenue growth, and cost reduction within client practices to increase profitability.

   

   

• Help implement the company''s integrated approach to client engagement and service delivery.

   

   

• Monitor, review, and report on client progress, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.

   

   

• Maintain and update internal compliance records, registers, and documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.

   

   

• Assist with compliance functions under FAIS legislation, including monitoring and reporting obligations to FSPs and the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).

   

   

• Contribute to establishing and promoting a compliance-focused culture among FSPs.

   

   

• Identify and evaluate business opportunities that align with Masthead’s strategic objectives and key drivers.

   

   

Minimum Requirements – Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant tertiary qualification from the FSCA’s approved list of qualifications for compliance officers is required.

   

   

• Previous experience or exposure within the financial services industry, ideally involving compliance, practice management, or client advisory roles.

   

   

• A sound understanding of key regulatory frameworks including FAIS, FICA, and POPI.

   

   

• Registration as a CAT 1 with the relevant regulatory authority is advantageous.
