Compliance Call Centre Agent

SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is creating on behalf of our client. An exciting opportunity is available within a regulatory and compliance-driven environment for a professional, customer-focused Compliance Call Centre Agent.

We are looking for candidates with strong call centre experience gained within financial services, banking, insurance, compliance, legal advisory, AML/FICA, KYC, or other regulated environments.
The successful candidate will provide telephonic and email support to stakeholders regarding compliance, registration, and reporting-related matters in terms of applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Compliance or Anti-Money Laundering related qualifications advantageous
• Fully bilingual in English and a second official South African language

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to compliance-related telephonic and email queries
• Support stakeholders with registration and reporting processes
• Provide professional customer service in line with compliance contact centre standards
• Resolve and administer compliance-related queries accurately and efficiently
• Assist with goAML registrations and data cleansing activities
• Identify recurring stakeholder challenges and escalate where necessary
• Maintain accurate records and ensure procedural compliance

Key Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year call centre or contact centre experience
• Experience handling client queries via telephone and email
• Exposure to compliance, regulatory, AML, FICA, KYC, onboarding, registration, or reporting processes will be highly advantageous
• Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, legal advisory, regulatory bodies, or compliance support environments preferred
• Strong administration and query resolution experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work in a high-volume, process-driven environment
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate professionally with external stakeholders
