The business works with buyers, vendors, Estate Agents and solicitors throughout the conveyancing process, with a focus on progressing transactions within required timeframes and providing excellent customer service.
THE ROLE: COMPLETIONS SPECIALIST
The Completions Specialist plays a vital role in proactively progressing property auction sales through to completion.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of transactions, delivering completions within the required timeframes and providing excellent customer service to buyers, vendors and Estate Agents.
The position reports to the Completions Team Leader and has no direct reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver monthly completion targets consistently within the required timeframes.
- Manage your caseload and diary in a clear, organised and effective manner while maintaining a progressive and proactive approach to achieving transaction timescales.
- Liaise with buyers, vendors, Estate Agents and solicitors to ensure all parties understand the timescales involved and the penalties should a transaction go over deadline.
- Build relationships with all parties and offer support throughout the process to ensure deadlines are met.
- Proactively identify solutions to keep sales progressing, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transactions remain on track.
- Keep all parties updated throughout the conveyancing process through clear and effective communication.
- Communicate via telephone as often as possible rather than email.
- Report professionally to colleagues at branch level regarding ongoing transactions.
- Present yourself professionally when communicating by telephone, in writing or in person with partner agents, their clients and all other associated parties relating to the role.
- Highlight issues to the Team Leader at the earliest opportunity to allow management to determine the best solution and outcome.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, determination and drive in delivering service level agreements and key objectives.
- Immediately advise the Money Laundering Nominated Office of any issues brought to your attention regarding Money Laundering or anything deemed out of the ordinary.
ABOUT YOU
- Preferably previous experience within estate agency or conveyancing, although this is not essential.
- Solid track record.
- Similar background would be advantageous.
