SUMMARY:
Our client, an accounting firm based in Northern Suburbs Cape Town, is seeking a Statutory Secretary to join their company.

The successful candidate should be knowledgeable and efficient in administering and registering Close Corporations and Companies, as well as liaising with the Registrar of Companies & Close Corporations (CIPC) and the Masters Office.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Registration of Companies
De-registration of CC’s and Companies
Transfer of Shares
Allotment of Share Capital
Name Change
Conversion of CC’s to Companies
Conversion of “old format” to “new format” Companies
Appointment & Resignation of Directors
Change of Members
Bank Certificates
Trustees – appointments and resignations
Annual returns submissions with CIPC
Filing
Minutes
Liaising with clients, CIPC and the Masters Office

Requirements:

± 3 - 5 years’ experience working in an accounting practice
Good organisational, communication & administrative skills.
Able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (experience with Secware, GreatSoft beneficial)
Meticulous attention to detail is essential
