SUMMARY:
One of our client is a statutory body established by the Medical Schemes Act (131 of 1998) to provide regulatory supervision of private health financing through medical schemes is looking for a Communications Co-Ordinator/ Administrator for a six (6) months fixed-term contract position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will work within the Stakeholder Relations Unit of the Council and will be responsible for:

Proving an administrative function that supports the Communications sub-division in executing and monitoring marketing and communications strategies.
Creating public relations and marketing materials such as press releases, website and social media posts, and newsletters.
Tracking and reporting analytics on marketing and communications campaigns and coordinating promotional events.

Skills and Knowledge Base – The successful candidate will have the following key competencies and skills:

Diploma or a Bachelor''''s degree in marketing, communications or journalism qualification;
1-2 years’ experience in Communications/Marketing/Journalism;
Organisational skills & time management;
Good communication skills (written and verbal);
MS Office; and
InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop will be an added advantage.
