JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Communications Assistant position has become available at one of our clients to join the Team Marketing. This position reports directly to the Communications Team Leader, working closely with the Marketing Manager.
The working hours for this position are determined by the dictates of the practice and the successful incumbent must be available and willing to handle urgent queries that may fall outside of standard hours
from time to time. The successful candidate must have reliable transport and may be required to travel.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
o National Diploma in marketing/communications and/or journalism is required
o At least 2 years’ relevant work experience
o Knowledge of social media tools and strategies including a sound understanding of social media marketing requirements and guidelines
o Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, including editing and proofreading skills
o Digital marketing knowledge is required
o Driven, dynamic, self-disciplined and highly motivated
o Team player who will always put the needs of the firm first
o Willing and able to work overtime whenever necessary to ensure the successful completion of a project / task when needs arise
o Excellent administration and organisational skills
o Able to adapt quickly and easily to changes as the firm expands
o Able to multitask and juggle several projects simultaneously
o Able to engage with a diverse group of people Ability to stay abreast of legal sector trends and marketing developments
o Able to execute tasks, responsibilities and projects effectively within the desired timeframes
o Understands urgency and enjoys working under pressure
o Creative design knowledge is advantageous
