SUMMARY:
A rapidly-growing Pretoria-based agritech company is looking for a mid-level Communication andMarketing specialist to organise and oversee PR activities and build the companyÃ¢Â€Â™s profile with key stakeholders, media and the public. You should be an organized, energetic professional who can think creatively, communicate effectively and write competently in BOTH English and Afrikaans.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

Develop PR campaigns and media strategies

Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management

Plan, edit and update content: promotional material, media releases, publications, videos, social media posts etc.

Organize events where necessary (e.g. open days, press conferences)

Liaise with media and stakeholders as necessary

Track media coverage and follow industry trends

Requirements

Relevant qualifications and experience in communications, marketing and public relations

Strong communication ability (oral and written)

Excellent organisational skills

Ability to work well under pressure

Creativity and problem-solving aptitude

Experience managing media relations (online and print)

Solid researching, writing and editing ability
