Commissioning Engineer:

Duties and responsibilities

Inspect sites during construction on behalf of Asset Owners or EPCs
Lead or witness system commissioning and handovers
Identify defects, risks, and non-compliances and clearly define corrective actions
Support Asset Managers with technical fault diagnosis, particularly during warranty periods
Conduct routine quality and compliance inspections on operational sites
Produce clear, accurate inspection and commissioning reports
Provide technical insight that informs O&M scope, pricing, and risk

Experience and Qualifications

Red Seal / Electrical Trade Test, Wireman’s Licence, or equivalent engineering qualification
Strong commissioning, inspection, and fault-finding experience
High attention to detail with excellent technical reporting skills
Confident working with Asset Owners, EPCs, and contractors
A practical, quality-driven mindset with strong technical judgement
