SUMMARY:
A manufacturing company in the Vaal is looking for an experienced Tanker Driver

POSITION INFO:

• Loading & Unloading:

  Supervise or assist in loading materials into the tanker, connecting hoses and pumps for unloading at delivery sites. 

   

   
• Safety Procedures:

  Follow strict safety protocols for handling potentially hazardous materials, including protocols for leaks or spills, and ensure compliance with all regulations. 

   

   
• Vehicle Maintenance:

  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and its equipment, reporting any issues and performing basic maintenance. 

   

   
• Documentation:

  Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, fuel loaded and unloaded, and other relevant information

   

   
• Communication:

  Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other personnel to coordinate routes, provide delivery updates, and manage schedules. 

   

   
• Logistics:

  Plan routes and schedules, taking into account factors like traffic, weather, and weight limits, and assist with paperwork related to deliveries. 

   

   
• Customer Service:

  Interact professionally with customers, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries, and handling deliveries of various products
