SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Code 14 PDP/Forklift Driver to join our team in Western Cape. Entry level position with up to 2 years of experience. Permanent role.

POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Code 14 PDP/Forklift Driver

Report to: Sophy MatsebulaSeniority Level: Entry Level (up to 2 yrs exp)Region: Western CapeLocation: CPT - CBDType: Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure truck checklists done and completed before starting the journey.
Keep the truck in good condition and up to date with maintenance.
Plan routes carefully from supplier or cold store to collection point.
Loading trailer with forklift and verifying loads for accuracy.
Report any challenges that may cause delays in schedule.
Interact with customers professionally and update delivery records.
Adhere to speed limits and safety protocols at all times.
No passengers allowed on company trucks without permission.

Skills:

Ability to work independently and within a team, Strong work ethic, Code 14 driver with PDP, Good communication skills, Clean driving record preferred.
