Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Code 14 Driver to join their logistics/operations team in Windhoek.

This role is ideal for a professional driver with strong extra-heavy vehicle and Superlink experience, who takes pride in safe, efficient and reliable deliveries.

🔑 THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:

• Completing scheduled local and international deliveries and collections
• Operating a Superlink / articulated truck safely and efficiently
• Ensuring loads are correctly checked, secured and transported
• Verifying delivery documentation before departure
• Obtaining and returning signed Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects
• Following approved routes and managing delivery schedules efficiently
• Ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation and company safety procedures
• Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and professional condition
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers
• Reporting any delays, accidents, damage, discrepancies or delivery issues immediately

🎯 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

✅ Valid Namibian Code CE / Code 14 driver's licence
✅ Valid Professional Driving Permit / professional driver authorisation
✅ 3–5 years' proven experience operating extra-heavy vehicles
✅ Proven Superlink / articulated truck and trailer experience
✅ Strong delivery and driving experience
✅ Experience with local AND international deliveries
✅ Good knowledge of load securing and safe load distribution
✅ Good understanding of road safety and vehicle inspections
✅ Ability to work independently and responsibly
✅ Good communication skills and a strong customer-service approach
✅ Ability to use GPS/navigation and mobile communication systems
✅ Fluent in English; local language skills advantageous

⭐ HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS

Experience transporting:

• Steel
• Roofing sheets
• Construction materials
• Long, heavy or specialised loads

Experience with delivery notes, trip sheets and POD controls will also be advantageous.
