SUMMARY:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver with a valid Dangerous Goods Permit (DGP). Must have experience in driving 8 ton trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting Chemical products.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

Valid Code 10 driver’s license.
Valid Dangerous Goods Permit (DGP).
Minimum of [3-5 years] experience driving 8 ton trucks, preferably in transporting hazardous materials.
Clean driving record and good reference.
Knowledge of road safety regulations and DGP compliance standards.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks when required.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel long distances.

Key Responsibilities

Operate an 8-ton truck to transport chemical products to designated locations.
Ensure the safe handling and delivery of dangerous goods in accordance with DGP regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
Handle emergency situations and report incidents promptly.
