Code 10 Driver

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation, loading and offloading of goods, while ensuring all company and road safety requirements are adhered to

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• Valid Forklift Licence/Certificate
• Valid Medical Certificate
• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a similar environment
• Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and offloading where required

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with road and company regulations
• Transport and deliver goods to customers and/or designated locations
• Load and offload goods safely and efficiently
• Operate a forklift when required
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements
• Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for
• Maintain accurate delivery records and relevant paperwork
• Ensure goods are handled and transported with care
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the company vehicle
• Assist with general warehouse or dispatch duties when required
