SUMMARY:
Umhlanga. Established company in the clothing manufacturing industry seeks competent Clothing Coordinator with strong organisational and planning ability to join their Umhlanga office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Will suit driven, quick-thinking individual who is timeous, accurate and enthusiastic and willing to work in a fast-paced demanding department.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of product generation
  • Preparation of fabric and elastic lab dips
  • Preparation and development of all subsidiary garment trim requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers, tracking, and tracing the status of development of items
  • Preparation of garment techpacks
  • Booking and dealing with courier companies
  • Scheduling, filing, and focusing intently on the critical path
  • Responsible for the setup of a season from a system and raw material perspective
Requirements:
  • Strong work ethic and strong values
  • Need to be willing to go the extra mile - no task is too small
  • Need to be quick, accomplish tasks in times set out, quick thinking and quick to identify problems and find resolutions
  • Strong organisation and planning
  • Industry knowledge is preferable
