POSITION INFO:

A private multi-disciplinary hospital in the Northern Suburbs of Durban is looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Theatre to join their dedicated surgical team.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Support and enhance modern clinical practice in the theatre environment

• Ensure high standards of patient care through clinical expertise

• Mentor staff and facilitate ongoing professional development

• Expert researcher

Requirements:

• Nursing diploma or degree 

• Post Basic Operating Theatre Nursing Diploma (essential) and SANC registered

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in scrubbing across a variety of surgical disciplines

• In-depth knowledge of specialized procedures and modern nursing care principles

• Proven experience in a private hospital setting

• Strong mentoring and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
