Role Description

Our client is looking for a Client Support Consultant to work as part of a team, providing assistance with database management, contract management, client enquiries, information the company services or offerings and general administration functions as required.

The Client Support Consultant will also conduct software demonstrations to prospective clients and provide user support.

The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to develop into a role providing a new full-time support service for a portfolio of clients that require a proactive approach to managing their Fit & Proper requirements.

The role reports to the Product Development Manager for Software Solutions.

 Job Specification

 

  • Processing, allocation and following up on leads or prospective client’s enquiries
  • Receiving and processing contracts, supporting documentation and ancillary functions
  • Record activities on the relevant database, reporting and reconciliation of data
  • Coordinate client relationship opportunities such as proposals, software demonstrations, training and support assistance
  • Reconciliation of client information, following up on account status, enquiries and payments received. Ensure timely communication to the Finance Department
  • Receive, process and record client communications and queries in a timely manner
  • Consult with clients to provide support through registration, activation of staff members and any relevant troubleshooting
  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Assist clients with importing data, actively assessing, tracking and reporting on Fit & Proper requirements in line with associated deadlines
  • Stay informed on applicable legislation, industry developments and internal procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

 Minimum Requirements

Relevant certificate, diploma or degree in Business, Administration or Customer Support

  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in an administrative position, including some experience in office administration and customer service
  • Proven previous experience in sales, marketing and client relationship management
  • Proven previous experience conducting demonstrations and presentations. Preferably, for software applications
  • Proven knowledge of the financial services industry, legislation and FSCA procedures. Preferably, FAIS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills

The ideal candidate should have strong administration skills, paying attention to detail and striving for accuracy.  This individual will be required to work as a team and independently, requiring strong time management and self management skills. The desired candidate should value relationship building with all stakeholders of the company, be courteous, patient and always willing to assist. Be a fast learner, while practicing perserverance and determination.
