Client Liaison Officer

SUMMARY:
Client Liaison Officer - R15k p/m - Stellenbosch - Permanent

POSITION INFO:

My client, a well-established property development company has this position for a talented and experienced person who will join a small team and will report to the MD.
The company is currently busy with phase 1 of 5 of a residential and office block development on the Bottelary Road outside Brackenfell towards Stellenbosch.
Once the sales or rental agreements of this development have been concluded this person liaises directly with the new clients and service providers and his/her responsibilities will include:
 Proactively guiding clients i.t.o. their sales/rental contract and council requirements
 Managing the expectations of clients and dealing with client queries and complaints
 Meeting with clients to discuss and finalise standard finishes and discuss any variations from a standard unit
 Liaising with Architects, Quantity Surveyors, site management and various external service providers to deal with issues and to finalise variations
 Providing feedback to the contracts manager on variations not being executed in accordance with construction drawings and instructions given
 Directing and administering client handover and coordinate and sign off client snags with relevant site staff and development representative
 Handling maintenance and warranty queries after handover
 Interacting with marketing agents as well as providing documentary support to them
 Compiling weekly and monthly progress and material reports
 General marketing of the development
 General office management
 Ability to work under constant pressure and to manage more than one project simultaneously by meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 A natural service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and hands-on management
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
 Excellent time management skills and be able to work independently without direct supervision
 Above average conflict handling skills and the ability to engage on all levels
 A natural ability to finalise things and to get closure on all outstanding issues

General requirements:

Matric
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the building industry in a relevant position
Code 08 license & own car
Bilingual preferable
Stable track record with contactable references
