About Our Client

Our client is a Specialised Insurance provider based in Roodepoort. They are focused on providing efficient claims handling and exceptional communication to policyholders.

The Role: Claims Consultant

The purpose of this role is to manage claims from submission to completion while confirming the extent and validity of claims. The successful candidate will provide advice to policyholders on the claims process, collect accurate documentation, monitor claim progress, and maintain productivity and profit.

Key Responsibilities

Manage claims from submission through to completion.
Provide advice to policyholders on making a claim and the processes involved.
Collect accurate information and documents required to proceed with claims.
Monitor the ongoing progress of claims.
Confirm the extent as well as the validity of claims while providing exceptional client service.
Communicate with various business clusters, including internal departments and external service providers.
Take responsibility for productivity and profit.

About You

Completed degree, preferably BCom, with very strong academic results.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate.
Proactive with a positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills.
Exceptional client service capabilities.
No relevant experience necessary.
