SUMMARY:
Role Purpose
The Financial Services Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisors and Executives, ensuring the accurate processing of client information, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient handling of new business, claims, and investment transactions. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Administration

• Manage client onboarding processes.
• Retrieve, process, and record client information accurately.
• Compile and maintain client files in line with compliance standards.
• Conduct risk rating, verification, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Provide continuous client support, including meeting coordination and diary management.
• Maintain registers for new business, prospective clients, reversals, and non-proceeded cases.
• Draft and maintain reports for internal and client-facing purposes.

• Support Financial Advisors and Executives with document management.
• Perform filing, shredding, binding, and compilation of client files.
• Ensure proper maintenance of administrative systems and processes.

• Prepare and submit new business applications.
• Process claims, including:
  
  • Short-term and long-term insurance claims.
  • Death claims for insurance and investments.

• Handle withdrawals (full, partial, and two-pot) of investment products.
• Administer transfers, including Section 14, Section 37, and investment transfers.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12.
• RE5/RE1 certification.
• NQF 5 or NQF 6 qualification in the financial services industry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Financial Services Provider.

• Short-term insurance, long-term insurance, and investments.
• Exposure to business assurance, buy-and-sell agreements.
• Familiarity with wills, testaments, and estates.
