Claims Administrator

SUMMARY:
A well-established client within the short-term insurance industry is seeking a Claims Administrator to join their team based in Kloof.

POSITION INFO:
This role focuses on the efficient processing and administration of insurance claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high level of client service throughout the claims lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and administer short-term insurance claims from inception through to finalisation
• Liaise with clients, insurers, assessors, and service providers to facilitate claim progress
• Ensure all required documentation is obtained, verified, and accurately recorded
• Follow up on outstanding information and maintain regular communication with stakeholders
• Capture and update claims data on internal systems
• Monitor claims timelines and ensure adherence to SLAs
• Assist with claims queries and provide feedback to clients in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping in line with compliance requirements
• Support brokers and internal teams with claims-related administration

Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• NQF 4 - Short Term Insurance
• COB - Domestic & Commercial
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in short-term insurance claims administration
• Strong understanding of short-term insurance products and claims processes

Remuneration

• R20 000 - R25 000 - Dependent on experience
