Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall financial health and performance of the group, overseeing multiple entities within our diverse portfolio of hospitality businesses. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations across our group of luxury game lodges and related businesses.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the group’s broader business objectives.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for all entities.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Manage cash flow, investment planning, and financial risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory financial requirements.
• Standardize financial policies and procedures across multiple companies.
• Provide high-level financial insight and strategic support to the executive team.
• Lead audits and stakeholder reporting processes.
• Cultivate a collaborative, solutions-oriented finance team culture.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Financial Accuracy: Consistent, timely, and accurate reporting across the group.
2. Budget Management: Effective oversight of forecasting and cost allocation.
3. Cost Control: Identify efficiencies and implement cost-saving measures.
4. Cash Flow Management: Sustain strong liquidity and working capital practices.
5. Compliance: Full compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
6. Financial Strategy: Innovative financial planning aligned with growth objectives.
7. Risk Management: Proactive identification and mitigation of financial risks.
8. Investment Oversight: Strategic investment guidance and return analysis.
9. Team Engagement: Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
10. Leadership Support: Trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success as a CFO, Financial Director, or equivalent in the hospitality or tourism sector, preferably with exposure to multi-entity structures.
• Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage financial operations at scale.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in financial systems, forecasting tools, and modern reporting platforms.
• Relevant professional qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in luxury game lodges or resort environments will be a distinct advantage.
