A reputable Group Company Executive, resident in Somerset West, seeks to employ a qualified Chef and all round household assistant for their home and home office in the area.

This role requires a candidate who speaks fluent English, has 5-10 years experience as a Chef, is able to communicate effectively at executive level and be able to work independently to ensure that the household, entertainment and residence/gardens are running perfectly.

Only candidates resident in the Helderberg/Winelands will be considered.

Key criteria to meet for consideration:

• This role requires you to be able to manage catering for business dinners, executive entertaining at the home, as well as general family meals, therefore, we do need a Chef qualification and experience in seafoods and fine dining cuisine, as well as more traditional meal preparation.
• In addition, you will have advanced knowledge of wines and pairing of wines with dishes prepared and serving of such
• You will also be expected to manage their household, such as shopping for groceries, cleaning the home, managing laundry and assisting guests when necessary.
• An added advantage is knowledge of rose garden tending
• You will require a valid driver’s license to be able to use the vehicle provided for errands.

This is a live-in role, where you are provided with your own townhouse unit and a dedicated vehicle to use, therefore we will be conducting thorough references, criminal and credit checks, as well as an assessment on your skill set and level of expertise.
