Chauffeur / Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, punctual, and professional transportation to authorized passengers.

• Drive defensively and comply with all South African traffic laws and regulations.

• Plan routes effectively and remain familiar with local roads, alternative routes, and traffic conditions.

• Collect and drop off passengers at designated locations safely and on time.

• Always maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

• Conduct daily vehicle safety and condition checks.

• Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable, fueled, and properly maintained.

• Report mechanical problems, accidents, incidents, or vehicle damage immediately.

• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, maintenance, and relevant journeys.

• Assist passengers with luggage or other reasonable requirements where necessary.

• Remain alert to potential safety and security concerns while transporting passengers.

• Follow the employer's security and emergency procedures.

• Maintain valid firearm competency and comply strictly with all applicable firearm laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.

• Safely and lawfully manage any authorized firearm-related responsibilities within the scope of the position.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding the employer's movements, schedule, personal information, and security arrangements.

• Perform other reasonable driving and transport-related duties as required.
