SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Independent Chairperson of the Board; a bold, respected leader with the vision and influence to drive meaningful industry transformation and diversification across an entire industry.
This role is not about dictating change but about reimagining the future, bringing together stakeholders with competing agendas, and converting long-standing conversations into decisive action.

• Lead the Board with authority, independence, and impeccable judgment.
• Influence government and regulatory policy at the highest levels.
• Unlock opportunities for industry diversification and long-term sustainability.
• Mediate, unite, and accelerate progress in a complex, highly regulated environment. 

• A proven track record of Board Membership within large, complex organisations.
• Governmental influence and the ability to lobby successfully at Ministerial level.
• A strong academic/professional background (MBA, CA (SA), Advocate, or equivalent).
• Independence, courage, and the respect to stand firm under pressure.
• Of good standing.
