Certified ERP Consultant (Acumatica Certified a plus)

POSITION INFO:

Our client is urgently seeking a Certified ERP Consultant (Certified in Acumatica is a big plus).  The successful candidate must live in Cape Town, have own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license and preferably be a South African citizen. If not a SA citizen, must have a valid work visa. 

A decision was made in March 2020 for all staff to work from home permanently and they get together as a team on a monthly or bi monthly basis.  Consultants are in contact daily with each other and management via Teams/email/phone so the successful candidate must have a stable internet line at home. A home office allowance is paid.

The successful candidate must be the following:

• Have a strong sense of responsibility, dedicated, motivated and handle job pressure well. 

• Required to be an ERP certified consultant (Sage 200, 300 or other related ERP software) and will be upskilled in Acumatica. This will result in ongoing (online) self-learning to remain relevant in the industry. 

• Access to all training modules will be provided and training will be required to be done during work and after hours. 

• The position will require that the successful candidate has a home-based office from where to work and will need to daily liaise with management/colleagues/clients via Microsoft Teams, emails, cell phone and occasional staff meetings.

• Have an Analytical / Driver personality

 Skills Requirements

Managing system/client projects starting from system information gathering, solution design, preparing program specifications, system configuration, system testing, user training, system installation, problem solving and trouble-shooting, implementation and continuous account monitoring.

 Job Description - Essential Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of ERP sites together with related 3rd party products. 

• If no Acumatica experience, training will be provided. 

• If the successful candidate is not Sage certified, he/she will be responsible for the maintenance of all Acumatica sites.

• Perform project implementation and upgrades

• Conduct user training

• Prepare system analysis, specification and coordinate with the development team

• Installation of software / Help-desk support

• On-site and remote support

• Troubleshooting

• Report and form customization

• Evaluation of software

• Understand customer needs and requirements

 Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma – good combination of BCOM and IT (BCom/IS degree)

• SQL experience

• Experienced in and Understanding of ERP / ERP financial systems

• Experienced in BA process / software

• Knowledgeable in MS Products

• Sage 200, 300 or other related ERP certification and/or Acumatica Certified Consultant (advantageous)

• Understand company requirement for the financial and business operational workflow

• Previous experience in a similar position
