Cellar Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Cellar Assistant who takes pride in working neatly, accurately, and efficiently.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys physical, practical work and wants to grow their experience in wine processing and cellar operations.

POSITION INFO:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Stabilise, filter, blend, and process wines as instructed
• Load and discharge bulk wine tankers
• Perform final wine preparation before bottling
• Draw samples for testing and retention
• Operate cellar equipment such as Crossflow, Stabtar, and Ultra Cool
• Maintain accurate cellar and chemical records
• Assist with daily stock checks
• Uphold cellar hygiene and safety protocols

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• At least 2 years’ experience in a cellar/winery environment
• Understanding of wine processes and cellar documentation
