POSITION INFO:
Lodge Housekeeping is looking for a responsible individual for a fixed term period that will ensure a high standard of cleanliness and services is maintained in all lodges, public areas and laundry in accordance with all policies and procedures set by Delaire Graff Estate.
Responsibilities:
- To create a clean, orderly, and well-maintained environment for the guests and team members
- To set-up and breakdown, the main pool deckand all lodge pool decks
- Maintain the cleanliness of all windows through the lodges and reception areas including skylights
- Assist with the cleaning of lodges and public areas as directed by management
- Collect, deliver and labelling of guest luggage on arrival and departure
- Ensure that all repair and maintenance problems are reported
- To anticipate and respond to all guest needs quickly, efficiently and courteously
- Ensure that all guest complaints are brought to the attention of management
- Follow all reasonable instructions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a houseman
- Passionate about the hospitality industry
- Excellent ability to pay attention to detail
- Friendly and helpful
- Honesty, flexibility and accountability
- Punctual and self-discipline
- Professional manner and attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable and adaptable
