SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a friendly and dependable Cashier to provide excellent customer service while ensuring accurate cash handling and efficient point-of-sale operations.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

• Process customer purchases accurately
• Handle cash, card and electronic payments
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Issue receipts and process refunds where applicable
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
• Assist customers with enquiries
• Promote current specials where applicable
• Follow company cash handling procedures

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
• Computer literate
• Experience operating a Point of Sale (POS) system advantageous
• Strong numerical skills
• Honest and trustworthy
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays
