SUMMARY:
A leading client in the retail sector is looking for dedicated and professional cashiers to join their team in Underberg, a small town located in the southern part of KwaZulu-Natal, near the foothills of the Drakensberg. The position requires candidates with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a large store environment. POSITION INFO:
Key Duties:

• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit and debit transactions
• Assist customers with purchases and provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure accurate scanning of items and proper handling of returns and exchanges
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Monitor and manage stock levels at the register
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist with merchandising and restocking shelves when needed
• Provide product knowledge to customers to assist them in making informed purchasing decisions.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a cashier role in a large retail environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required.
