SUMMARY:
Engineering concern, based in the East of Johannesburg, is looking for a Cashbook Clerk to join their team for 6 months. Experience with Syspro advantageous. Immediately availability essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications & Experience:

- Matric
- The suitable candidate should be in possession of Syspro experience.
- At least 3 year’s experience in a cashbook function.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent follow up skills
- Good communication and people skills.
- In addition, high level of competence in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word is essential

Key areas of responsibility are:

- Control of Bank Accounts
- Issue and capture Payment requisitions and receipts on Syspro
- Preparation of daily EFT’s
- Reconcile cashbooks daily to the bank statement by comparing the bank statement to the cash book entries
- Processing of debit orders
- Maintain control expense sheets
- Correct expense allocations
- Control Petty Cash Float and expense
- Obtain Daily bank statements
- General admin duties
- General assistance with the other departments in Shared Services where required
