Our client is seeking an experienced Cashbook Clerk to join their professional team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Process daily cash transactions, including receipts and payments, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately in the cashbook
• Maintain up-to-date financial records and reconcile these with bank statements
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures related to cash management

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in accounting or finance
• Experience with Forex currency transactions is essential
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly SYSPRO, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel
• Current experience with revaluations is essential
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
