SUMMARY:
If you are a Registered Nurse with Case Management experience, then we would like to present this opportunity to you. A private hospital situated in Cape Town, has a vacancy for a general Case Manager to join their billing department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The key responsibility will be liaison between the patients and medical aid companies, ensure that correct coding (ICD & CPT) is used, authority received for LOS and monitoring of patients costs to ensure the hospital receive payment for services rendered.

Requirements:
General Nursing Diploma and SANC registered (essential)
Minimum of 3 yrs previous nursing experience within multi-disciplinary hospitals
Minimum of 2 yrs working experience as Case Manager (required)
Good knowledge of ICD 10/CPT coding
Good knowledge and understanding of Medical aid contracts, rules and benefit policies
Good level of communication and interpersonal skills
