Carton Erecting Machine Technician - Port Elizabeth

POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity exists for suitably qualified Technician to service & repair Carton Erecting Machines at customers sites.

This position will require a fair amount of travelling and a company vehicle will be available with this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible to perform duties regarding erecting machines and will be based in Port Elizabeth.

Qualifications:

• Matric

Job Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years Technical and/or Agricultural experience in repairing / servicing machines

• Fault Finding skills / attention to detail

• Experience with different erecting machine

• Available to work after hours, overtime and work weekends as the need arises

• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

• Code 8 driver’s license

• Computer literacy (MS Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

• Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.

• Self-motivated, self - starter, pro-active, goal oriented and team player.

Key responsibilities will be:

• Upkeep and maintenance of Customer Erecting Machines at different sites

• Pack house visits and call out duties as and when needed

• Planned and preventative maintenance with minimum time wastage Fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs on erecting machines

• Adherence to safety, health and environmental standards in line with housekeeping

• To represent the company by performing the duties as required
