POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Construction & Installation: Build and install building frameworks (walls, floors, roofs), doorframes, windows, stairs, cabinets, shelving, and other fixtures.

Measurement & Cutting: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to plans.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Tool Operation: Safely use various hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery.

Repair & Maintenance: Inspect and repair damaged wooden structures and fixtures.

Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople (electricians, plumbers) and construction teams.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to building codes and health & safety regulations.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools, understanding of materials, ability to read plans.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, climb, lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs).
