A private safari camp in Musina, Limpopo is seeking an experienced Camp Manager & Chef Couple to take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the camp and its culinary offering.
 
This is a hands-on couple’s position suited to partners with complementary hospitality skills who are comfortable working together in a bush environment and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS: 

• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• Proven experience in a safari lodge or camp environment
• Previous lodge or camp management experience
• Recognised Chef qualification and professional kitchen experience
• Strong guest relations and hosting skills
• Experience managing stock, ordering, food costs, and kitchen operations
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Hands-on approach and willingness to assist across all areas of camp operations
• Valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle essential
• Ability to work independently in a remote bush environment
• Professional presentation and excellent communication skills 
• Own reliable vehicle required

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the camp
• Manage and coordinate staff
• Host guests and ensure an exceptional and personalised guest experience
• Maintain camp standards, presentation, and service levels
• Oversee operational administration and daily camp requirements
• Assist with general camp duties where required 

• Plan and prepare quality meals for guests
• Manage the daily kitchen operation and food production
• Manage kitchen stock, ordering, and food costs
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Cater for guest dietary requirements
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all meals
