Job Summary
As an External Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of our company—driving growth, forging strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. You’ll identify new opportunities, present our offerings with confidence, and negotiate deals that make a difference. This role involves regular travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories
•Cold call, email, and network to build a robust pipeline of leads
•Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and competitors
•Present products/services through in-person and virtual meetings
•Understand client needs and deliver customized solutions
•Negotiate pricing and contracts aligned with company goals
•Close deals and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
•Build long-term relationships and provide ongoing support
•Upsell and cross-sell to maximize revenue
•Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions

What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of experience in external sales or business development
• Proven success in meeting sales targets and generating new business
• Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities
• Relationship-building expertise across all client levels
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
• Skilled in managing multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Familiarity with sales analytics and CRM tools
• Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., construction, IT, manufacturing) is a plus
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours
