SUMMARY:
The Payment Admin Clerk is responsible for all client/customer payments and contra entries. The incumbent will be accurate and meticulous in their work and ensure that the client/customers’ accounts are correctly adjusted.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational  

  • Checking banks and updating client’s deposits
  • Checking Manual Transaction
  • Processing withdrawals: Monday – Friday
  • Assisting with New Account Applications and updating FICA documentation

Customer + Relationship

  • Assisting branches & clients with Withdrawal & Deposit queries via telephone & email
  • Responding within agreed time limits
  • Working continuously on a task until completion
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with colleagues, customers and other service providers

Innovation

  • Supporting the roll-out of new processes
  • Continually adding ideas to improve processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric
  • Certificate in Banking or relevant field is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Turfsport software essential
  • Previous experience in a banking environment is advantageous
  • Must be able to work shifts including nights.
