POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced CREDITORS CLERK for a well-established national concern, position based in City Deep, Johannesburg.  

!PERSON SHOULD PREFERABLY BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade 12.

Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable transport.

English speaking person (must be able to read / write / speak English competently).

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Knowledge of SYSPRO is essential.

2-3 years’ experience in debtors and general administration.

Good telephone skills.

Person will be required to compile creditors’ documentation and process payments, as well as all the relative administrative activities.

Reconcile accounts to supplier’s statements monthly.

Original invoices, and approved purchase orders are to be captured into Syspro.

All expenses, and invoices must be captured into Syspro within the month the expense was incurred.

To complete Telkom accounts by printing invoices from the website and preparing the cheque.

Payment runs created on Syspro remain “open” until approved by the Financial Manager for payment.

Execute payment runs when approved, and create a batch to extract payment run into bank.

File reports from Syspro and bank audit reports.

All changes to existing creditors, and details for new creditors to be approved by Financial Manager.

Confirm that banking details and creditors code are the same in accounts payable and bank.

Salary package offered: - R14 000-00 per month (CTC)
