Scope and General Purpose:

To assist management with the day-to-day compilation and completion of all financial and statistical returns required by the company

Responsible to:

Accounting Manager

Assistant accountant

Financial Manager

Executive Director

Responsible for:

No – One

Hours of Work:

Maximum of 45hours per week

Limits of Authority:

According to each establishment

Key performance Areas:

Full function Creditors
Processing weekly payment
Sending statement, invoices, strong recons experience
General administrative duties
Reconciliation of all creditors accounts
Cash debtors
Daily processing of invoices
Professional handing of customer queries
Assist with cost control duties
Responsible for ad hoc duties in order to maintain excellent service delivery

Key Indicators:

Time accuracy
Must be able to work in a high pressurised environment
Deliver high level of customer care

Minimum Requirements:

Matric or Grade 12
Applicable tertiary qualification
Minimum of 2 years in a similar position
Excellent communication skills
Accurate and have great attention to details
Deadline driven
Pastel experience – Evolution would be advantageous
Preparing payment authorisation in terms on SLA’s, contracts and purchase orders.
Excellent communications skills
Must be deadline driven
Must have Analytical skills/Problem solver
Ability to apply procedures
High level excel and email skills for reporting purposes
Attention to details
Ability to apply procedures
Understanding SARS requirements
