SUMMARY:
Established engineering / manufacturing company situated in the East Rand area of JHB seeking a skilled CNC Workshop Foreman / Operator / Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC machining experience, with proven ability in both programming and supervising a workshop team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for the efficient running of CNC operations, programming jobs, managing staff, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the CNC workshop.
Operate, set up, and program CNC machines (Fanuc controllers).
Program components using MasterCAM software (or similar).
Supervise and guide workshop staff to ensure productivity and quality.
Plan and coordinate machining schedules to meet deadlines.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot where necessary.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate job records and reports.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ CNC machining, programming, and supervisory experience.
Proficient in MasterCAM (or a similar CAD/CAM package).
Strong knowledge of Fanuc controllers.
Solid technical background in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Reliable, hands-on, and quality-driven.
