SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Setter to join our team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC Lathe Machines (Fanuc)
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Afrikaans speaking is a strong advantage due to team communication needs.
• Willingness to work alternating day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC Lathe Machines to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Select appropriate tools, set cutting parameters, and load programs.
• Conduct first-off inspections and ensure workpieces meet quality specifications.
• Perform minor adjustments and tool changes during production runs.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper housekeeping of the work area.
• Work efficiently within tight production deadlines.
