SUMMARY:
A luxury 5 Star beachfront hotel in Plettenberg Bay is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to lead all Food & Beverage operations.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing restaurants, bars, room service, and banqueting operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, outstanding service standards, and strong financial performance. This opportunity is suited to a hands-on hospitality professional with proven leadership ability and a passion for service excellence.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENT: 

• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Manager within a 5 Star hotel essential
• Proven experience managing all Food & Beverage operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, stock management, and profitability
• Experience with stock control, purchasing, and supplier management
• Knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene standards
• Computer literate with experience on hospitality POS and PMS systems advantageous
• Professional, hands-on, and service-driven approach
• Own transport advantageous

• Manage all Food & Beverage operations across the hotel
• Lead, train, and develop the Food & Beverage team
• Ensure exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction
• Manage budgets, stock control, purchasing, and cost of sales
• Monitor departmental performance and drive profitability
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to ensure seamless operations
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
• Handle guest feedback and implement service improvements
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and operating procedures 

• R25,000 per month (Negotiable DOE)
