POSITION INFO:

The MultiChoice Group is a multinational media and entertainment group headquartered in South Africa, Dubai and the Netherlands 
with principal operations in pay television, video entertainment, advertising and content security. Brands within the Group include DStv, 
GOtv, SuperSport, M-Net, DStv Media Sales, Showmax and European-based content security leader Irdeto.  Key areas of operations are:

â–ª Determine validity of claim and escalation where necessary
â–ª Apply policy and procedure when handling claims.
â–ª Appropriate and timely resolution of claims.
â–ª Appropriately communicate settlement outcome to policyholder\beneficiary.
â–ª Appropriately keep records of all items related to a claim.
â–ª Obtain and examine relevant information to validate the claim.
â–ª Investigate and resolve claim exceptions and queries.
▪ Where required, accurately draft a settlement letter and submit it for management approval. 
â–ª Ensure claim outcome is fair and follows regulatory guideline

â–ª Demonstrate treating customers fairly through resolution of claims.
â–ª Act in the best interest of the customer and the company.
â–ª Adoptable to changes or new developments in the company and industry.
â–ª Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
â–ª Effect and maintain SLA.
â–ª Ad-hoc activities as required to achieve business objectives

Experience/Skills, Qualification

â–ª Grade 12\Matric
â–ª Previous claims handling experience (advantageous)
â–ª Previous experience as a representative on FSP license (advantageous)

▪ PC Literate – Basic understanding and use of Microsoft suite
â–ª Bilingual (Advantageous)
â–ª Work well under pressure.
â–ª Must be deadline-driven and complete tasks within given timelines.
â–ª Performance driven.
â–ª Strong service ethic.
â–ª Administrative.
â–ª Goal-oriented.
â–ª Knowledge and experience in dealing with insurance products (beneficial)
â–ª MultiChoice business policies, general billing rules, and understanding of Clarity/ICC (beneficial)
â–ª Knowledge and understanding of Treating Customer Fairly (TCF) Outcomes (beneficial)
