CAD Technician, East London

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a CAD Technician, for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• 10+ years relevant work experience
• Computer literate on AutoCad & MS Office
• Fluency in English and valid drivers
• Physical attributes to access project sites

• Provide CAD drawing services – ability to use AutoCAD essential
• Prepare civil and structural engineering drawings as instructed by superiors
• Provide printing, binding, plotting and scanning services
• Print A4 & A3 pages and drawings as directed by superior
• Bind documents as directed by superior using a spiral binder
• Plot A4 to A0 sized drawings using the plotter
• Scan drawings using the A0 scanner
• Prepare and maintain drawing and scanning registers
• Provide site data collection & monitoring services
• Collect site data and samples for projects as instructed by superiors
• Assist with site surveys as instructed by superiors
• Deliver documents and drawings to site
• Monitor & report back on progress of works on site
• On-site inspection of tests & works
