C Programmer

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a C Programmer with strong Linux skills to join a growing technology team in the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) space.

POSITION INFO:
Position: C Programmer (Linux Experience)
Area: Bellville
Start Date: Immediately


Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in C programming and Linux environments
• Relevant technical qualifications are advantageous

• Writing, updating, and optimizing C code in a Linux environment
• Debugging and solving code-related issues
• Creating design documentation and implementing new feature requests
• Managing multiple projects, multitasking, and demonstrating strong time management
• Taking initiative, working independently, and being accountable for assigned tasks
• Collaborating with teams across South Africa, the United States, and India
• Interpreting datasheets and supporting electronic hardware integration (advantageous)
• Using Git/GitHub for version control (advantageous)
