SUMMARY:
Buyer Manager

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for all Procurement activities

Must have and not negotiable:

SAP experience

Buying/Purchasing of electronic Components for Production

Qualifications: Minimum:

National Diploma – Supply Chain / and or Procurement Diploma

Professional Experience:

Minimum: 4-5 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred: Electronics

Leadership Experience:

Strong ERP system experience – preferably SAP

Intercultural Experience:

Demonstrated experience of working effectively in a multi-cultural environment

Responsibilities:

Purchasing
Expediting
Stock monitoring
Negotiating
Vendor Evaluation/Selection
Actioning of MRB material
Interface internally with other functional departments
